JOHN THEODORE JOINS PODIUM eSPORTS AS MANAGING MEMBER

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Podium eSports is delighted to announce the addition of John Theodore to the company as its Chief Innovation Officer (CIO).

In his role as Chief Innovation Officer, Theodore will be responsible for the creation and design of new Podium eSports series and special events. This will include (but is not limited to) the selection of tracks and cars for Podium eSports series and special events, and the exploration of other platforms outside of iRacing for Podium eSports to utilize in the future.

Theodore is a well-established streamer in the iRacing community with over 3,000 followers on his personal Twitch channel (twitch.tv/john_a_theodore). He also is familiar with Podium competition, having raced in three of Podium’s four series this season.

“The opportunity to add John to Podium was one that we could not pass up,” said Podium eSports Chief Communications Officer James Pike. “John is one of the most respected drivers in our series. He has a fantastic ear for the iRacing community, a brilliant sense of what works in the sim and is absolutely the right person to take Podium to the next level.”

“I’m really happy to be joining Podium and look forward to building on what has already been accomplished in the first season,” said Theodore. “We already have been hard at work developing what will take place in the second half of 2019 and I’m excited for Podium to share these plans in the near future.”
