PODIUM eSPORTS TO HOST 24-HOUR ENDURANCE EVENT ON DECEMBER 28

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Podium eSports will host its first-ever endurance event, the Podium eSports 24 Hours of Daytona, at Daytona International Speedway on the weekend of December 28-29.

Up to 60 teams will compete for victory in three classes: Le Mans Prototype (LMP1), Grand Touring Endurance (GTE), and HPD. Both LMP1s and all four GTE cars will be available for selection in this race, while teams competing in the HPD class will run the HPD ARX-01c. The race will be run on the Daytona International Speedway road course with open setups.

“We are excited to finally bring the prestige of our high-profile special events to iRacing’s road-racing community,” said Podium eSports’ Chief Marketing Officer Gary Sexton. “We are excited to start off our month at Daytona with our first-ever endurance event.”

The server for this race will open at 1:30 p.m. ET on December 28, with race gridding beginning at 2:30. Portions of the race will be broadcast on the Podium eSports Twitch channel, which can be found at https://www.twitch.tv/podiumesports/.
